Ed Walsh had a strong outing at South Side Park as the Chicago White Sox beat
the St. Louis Browns by the count of 6 to 1.

Chicago took the lead for good in the bottom of the 4th inning plating one
baserunner utilizing 2 base hits.  Chicago managed 10 hits in their victory.

The victory went to Walsh(4-5) who went the distance allowing 1 run. Harry
Howell(0-3) ended up with the loss.  He allowed 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 and
