Del Ennis slammed a homerun and had 4 RBI at Crosley Field as the Pittsburgh
Pirates beat the Cincinnati Reds 13 to 5.

Ennis enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He delivered a single resulting in a
run in the 3rd inning, stroked a base-hit in the 3rd inning and cracked a
two-run shot in the 5th inning.  Pittsburgh kept the scorekeepers busy in the
3rd inning which saw them plate 8 runs on 10 hits.  Pittsburgh had 20 hits
for the afternoon while Cincinnati had 7.  

The winning pitcher was Allie Reynolds(5-5) who allowed 3 runs in 5 innings.
Bob Friend gained credit for his 2nd save.  Ken Raffensberger(7-5) was the
losing pitcher.  Pittsburgh knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 8 runs in
2 innings.
