Mal Eason pitched a complete game as the Boston Beaneaters beat the New York
Giants by a score of 7 to 5.

The game started off with Boston taking the lead in the first when they scored
5 runs on 5 hits.  The critical plate appearance was by Billy Lush who
disappointed the partisan crowd when he delivered a base-hit bringing home
two baserunners.  Boston had 12 hits for the afternoon.  

Eason(4-4) allowed 5 runs on the game. Luther Taylor(2-8) absorbed the loss.
He was knocked around by Boston, allowing 12 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.
