Charlie Chech was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Sherry Magee had 5 hits and 3 RBI as the St. Louis-AL
Browns man-handled the Brooklyn Dodgers - the final score was 12 to 1.

Magee had a good day at the plate.  He banged out a single in the 1st inning,
tripled knocking in a run in the 3rd inning, doubled which plated a run in
the 4th inning, ripped a base-hit in the 6th inning and ripped a base-knock
in the 9th inning.  The St. Louis-AL offense man-handled the Brooklyn
pitching staff as they scored in 7 of the 9 innings.  

Chech(5-0) allowed 1 run on the game. Vive Lindaman(1-2) was given the loss.
He got hit hard, allowing 6 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings.
