Rebel Oakes had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Pittsburgh Rebels topped the Baltimore
Terrapins by a score of 18 to 9 at Terrapin Park.

Oakes had a big day against Baltimore.  He doubled which plated a run in the
1st inning, ripped a base-knock bringing in two baserunners in the 4th
inning, doubled resulting in a run in the 7th inning and laced a base-knock
in the 9th inning.  Pittsburgh bats were hot in the 4th inning when they had
7 runs on 6 hits and the 7th inning which saw them score 4 runs on 5 hits.
Pittsburgh dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.

Walt Dickson(2-3) got the win allowing 7 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings. Ralph
Comstock preserved the game for Dickson, recording his his 4th save.  Chief
Bender(6-8) was hit with the loss.  He was unable to control the Pittsburgh
offense and allowed 14 hits and 4 walks in 6 innings.
