Ewell Blackwell(4-2) had a steady outing.  He was reached for 4 hits and 9
walks in 6 innings.  Pittsburgh had 13 hits for the afternoon while New
York-AL had 6.  

Blackwell got help from Ellis Kinder who earned his 6th save.  Jim
McDonald(4-2) was charged with the loss in relief.  He was a hard-luck loser,
pitching 1 and 2/3 innings and not allowing an earned run.
