The New York Highlanders had very little trouble at Huntington Ave. Grds
downing the Boston Red Sox in 11 innings. The score was 10 to 5.

Both teams were tied at 5 runs apiece after nine innings. New York won the
hard fought contest in the 11th inning. The highlight belonged to John
Knight who disappointed the partisan crowd when he lifted one out of the park
for a two run home run. New York ended up with 13 hits for the game while
Boston had 10.

Ray Caldwell(5-7) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 and 2/3 innings. Judge
Nagle(0-1) was charged with the loss in relief. He allowed New York 5 runs
in 2 innings of work.
