Hank O'Day was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game and Walt Wilmot had 2 base hits at League Park as the Washington
Nationals beat the Cleveland Spiders by the count of 6 to 2.

Washington came through with the game-winning runs in the top of the 8th
inning with 3 runs on 2 base hits.  After an out was recorded, Wilmot started
the rally when he smacked a single.  John Carney followed and he reached on
an error.  Sam Wise then lofted a three-run bomb.  Washington managed 8 hits
in their victory.  

O'Day(5-2) was the winner allowing 2 runs for the game. Jersey Bakley(6-11)
was the losing pitcher.  He gave up 6 runs and 8 hits in 9 innings.
