rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Philadelphia Athletics beat
the Toledo Maumees by a score of 10 to 2.
Philadelphia started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half
of the first when they tallied 4 runs on 4 hits. That scoring would be all
that was needed. Philadelphia had 13 hits for the afternoon.
