Ted Breitenstein allowed Buck Ewing to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete
game at Eclipse Park where the Cincinnati Reds beat the dreadful Louisville
Colonels by the score of 15 to 7.

Cincinnati took the lead for good in the 4th inning when they scored 5 runs on
6 hits.  The biggest moment was provided by Tommy Corcoran who disappointed
the partisan crowd when he cleared the fences for a two-run home run.
Cincinnati lit up the scoreboard in the 4th inning with 5 runs on 6 hits and
the 8th inning which saw them score 7 runs on 7 hits.  Cincinnati had 17 hits
for the afternoon.  

The win went to Breitenstein(9-7) who allowed 7 runs in the game. Chick
Fraser(2-12) took the loss.  He was touched for 17 hits and 2 walks in 9
innings.
