Jack Taylor was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Chicago-NL Cubs outscored the Boston-AL Americans 4 to
2.

Boston-AL was unable to climb back into it after Chicago-NL went ahead for
good in the top of the 3rd inning plating an isolated run.  Both teams
finished the game with 7 hits.  

The win was credited to Taylor(12-7) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Jesse Tannehill(5-11) took the loss.  He pitched 8 innings giving up 7 hits
and no walks.
