Pretzels Getzien completed the game without help from the bullpen and first
baseman Tommy Tucker had 3 base hits as the Boston Beaneaters beat the
Chicago Colts by a score of 11 to 8.

Getzien(8-11) pitched okay, well enough for the win.  He went 9 innings
allowing 11 hits and 4 walks and was touched for 2 homeruns.  Both teams
finished the game with 11 hits.  

Mike Sullivan(5-6) was given the loss.  He couldn't find the strike zone and
allowed 10 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.  This win by Boston continues their
recent hot streak.  In their last ten games, they have a record of 8-2.  For
the season, they are 31-30.  With the loss Chicago now has a record of 33-23.
