Count Campau slammed a homerun and had 3 RBI and Jack Stivetts went the
distance as the St. Louis Browns beat the struggling Brooklyn Gladiators by a
score of 14 to 7.

Campau helped send the fans home happy.  He hit a single in the 1st inning,
slapped a one-base hit in the 3rd inning and belted a three-run homer in the
3rd inning.  St. Louis managed 16 hits in their victory.  

Stivetts(11-11) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 7 runs. Ed
Daily(7-8) was the loser.  He got hit hard, allowing 10 hits and 2 walks in 2
and 1/3 innings.
