Duke Farrell launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Congress St Grounds where
the incredible Boston Reds beat the Columbus Solons 8 to 7.

Farrell provided much of the offense. He clubbed a two-run home run in the
2nd inning and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 6th inning. Columbus
had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

The victory was credited to George Haddock(23-2) who went 8 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 7 runs. Haddock got help from Bill Daley who was credited with his
1st save. The losing pitcher was John Dolan(9-6). He surrended 4 homeruns
in his 7 and 1/3 innings.

It was another victory for Boston at Congress St Grounds. Now their winning
streak stands at 6 games.
