Buck Freeman hit for the cycle and had 5 RBI at Huntington Ave Grnds where the
Boston Americans beat the Baltimore Orioles in 10 innings by the score of 7
to 6.
Both teams had scored 6 runs after nine full innings. Boston came out the
victor in the 10th inning. After two outs Freeman smashed a solo-shot out of
the park making Boston the victors to the delight of the home town faithful.
Boston had 16 hits overall, while Baltimore had 11.
The win was credited to Frank Morrissey(3-1) who went 1 and 2/3 innings
allowing 1 run. Harry Howell(9-5) was charged with the loss in relief.
'I had a big day, but there's a lot of credit to go around' Freeman said. 'We
played well together as a team.'
