Bob Harmon pitched a 3 hit shutout at Robison Field as the St. Louis
Cardinals, running on all cylinders, ripped the Cincinnati Reds by a large 13
to 0 margin.

Rube Ellis made sure the St. Louis fans enjoyed themselves.  He doubled
clearing all three ducks off the pond in the 4th inning and tripled clearing
the bases in the 7th inning.  St. Louis finished with 7 hits in the victory.

For Harmon(5-10) it was his 2nd shutout this year. Fred Beebe(5-6) suffered
the loss.  St. Louis scored big getting 9 runs off him in 6 and 2/3 innings.

'Harmon just dominated us' losing pitcher Beebe said.  'Hopefully we can get
to him the next time around'
