Frank Sullivan allowed Mel Gross to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game
as the Cleveland Indians defeated the Cincinnati Reds 10 to 5 at Municipal
Stadium.

Del Ennis had a great day at the plate.  He had the crowd cheering his every
move.  He tripled in the 4th inning, tripled plating two runs in the 5th
inning and tripled plating all three baserunners in the 8th inning.
Cleveland had a total of 14 hits for the game.  

The winning pitcher was Sullivan(4-8) who allowed 5 runs for the game. The
losing pitcher was Saul Rogovin(4-2).  He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 14 hits and 7 walks in 8 innings.  

'I had a big day, but there's a lot of credit to go around' Ennis said.  'We
played well together as a team.'
