WEB GEMS- Top 2nd: Bill Dahlen robbed Bill Hart of a base hit.
Bot 6th: Tommy Corcoran robbed Ad Gumbert of a base hit.

Shortstop Jimmy Ryan touched them all and had 3 RBI and Pat Luby had a
complete game at South Side Park where the Chicago Colts beat the Brooklyn
Grooms 10 to 9.

The deciding run was scored by Chicago in the bottom of the 8th. After an out
was recorded, Walt Wilmot drew a walk. Bill Dahlen stepped into the batter's
box and he stroked a base-hit. After another out, Ryan then lined a single
scoring the run. This was the kind of game that many fans love as the lead
changed hands 5 times.

Luby(9-11) allowed 9 runs on the game. Bill Hart(9-6) was tagged with the
loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 10 runs in 8 innings.
