Mike Donlin had 5 hits and 2 RBI at American League Park as the Cincinnati
Reds beat the Washington Nationals in 12 innings by the count of 7 to 6.

The score was knotted at 6 after nine innings.  Cincinnati was victorious in
the 12th inning.  After an out was recorded, Kid Gleason tripled.  One out
later, Donlin stepped up to the plate and he lined a base-hit scoring the
run.  Cincinnati provided plenty of action in the 3rd inning which saw them
score 4 runs on 4 hits.  Cincinnati out-hit Washington for the game, 21 hits
to 8.  

Cy Falkenberg(5-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings.
Noodles Hahn was credited with his 8th save.  The losing pitcher was John
Halla(1-2) in relief.  He surrendered 3 hits and no walks in 2 innings.
