Count Campau cracked 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI and Toad Ramsey allowed Campau
to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game at Sportsman's Park as the St.
Louis Browns beat the reeling Brooklyn Gladiators by the count of 10 to
4.

Campau had a great day at the plate. He smashed a two-run homer in the 1st
inning, laced a base-hit scoring a run in the 3rd inning and cracked a
two-run shot in the 6th inning. St. Louis banged out 14 hits on the
afternoon.

Ramsey(14-8) was the winner allowing 4 runs for the game. Ed Daily(7-9) was
given the loss. He allowed 14 hits and 4 walks in 8 innings.

'I've spent a lot of time in the cage and made some adjustments and they've
paid off,' Campau said. 'I just take the same approach up there. I don't
overanalyze it. I go up there, see the ball and try to put a good swing on
it.'
