Davey Dunkle pitched a complete game as the Philadelphia Phillies outscored
the Baltimore Orioles 13 to 8.

Philadelphia tallied 6 runs in the 7th inning. The biggest moment was
provided by Dunkle who deflated the mood of the partisan fans when he lined a
base-hit bringing home two baserunners. Philadelphia managed 11 hits in
their victory.

Dunkle(4-4) allowed 8 runs on the game. Jim Hughes(13-5) took the loss. He
was knocked around pretty good, giving up 13 runs in 9 innings.
