TEAM RISP- Brewers: 6 for 17 Blues: 5 for 17
WEB GEMS- Bot 4th: Wid Conroy robbed Bill Bradley of a base hit.

John Anderson had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as the Milwaukee Brewers bested the
struggling Cleveland Blues 6 to 5 at League Park.

Pink Hawley(7-7) got the win but did not look spectacular. He gave up 5 runs
in 8 and 2/3 innings. Cleveland tried unsuccessfully to come back in the
9th.

Bert Husting earned the save, his 2nd. The losing pitcher was Pete
Dowling(5-9). He surrendered 6 runs and 10 hits in 9 innings.

Jimmy McAleer was in a contemplative mood after the tough loss, 'It is really
hard to lose this kind of a game. It may seem weird to some, but it is
easier to take the occasional blow-out loss. It is the ones that just barely
get away that hurt so much - like this one!'
