The score was tied at 5 after nine. New York was victorious in the 11th
inning.  The big moment was provided by Chief Roseman who deflated the mood
of the partisan fans when he tripled which was good for two runs.  New York
totaled 13 hits on the afternoon.  

Jack Lynch(13-10) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the win. Hank
O'Day(9-12) was hit with the loss.  He surrendered 13 hits and 4 walks in 11
innings.
