Grnds.

Boston-AL claimed the early lead in the first inning scoring 3 runners on 3
hits.  That early scoring was all that Chick Fraser(3-5) needed.  Boston-AL
rapped out 8 hits for the afternoon.  

Chief Bender earned his 6th save.  Ed Reulbach(11-6) was the loser.  He
