Al Kozar had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Washington Nationals beat the Pittsburgh
Pirates by a score of 15 to 7.

Kozar had a big day against Pittsburgh.  He doubled with all three baserunners
touching home in the 5th inning, hit a single resulting in a run in the 5th
inning, doubled in the 7th inning and slapped a one-base hit in the 9th
inning.  Washington bats were hot in the 5th inning which saw them plate 11
runs on 9 hits.  Washington out-hit Pittsburgh for the game, 20 hits to 9.

Gene Bearden(11-7) was the winner allowing 6 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. Ellis
Kinder(7-7) was tagged with the loss.  Washington scored big getting 12 runs
off him in 4 innings.
