In an entertaining game at Fenway Park the final score was the Cleveland
Indians 11, the Boston Red Sox 8.

Howie Fox(7-5) had a rough outing, but still came away with the win.  He gave
up 7 runs in 5 innings and surrendered 2 'long-bombs'.  Cleveland totaled 11
hits on the afternoon.  

Gerry Staley gained credit for his 6th save. Mickey McDermott(1-3) was charged
with the loss.  He had trouble throwing strikes and issued 6 walks in 3 and
1/3 innings.
