Roger Connor had 5 hits and Mickey Welch had a complete game as the Troy
Trojans outscored the Cleveland Blues 8 to 4.

Troy had the winning rally in the 8th inning as they scored 4 runs on 3 base
hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Patrick Gillespie who helped quiet
the crowd when he doubled plating all three baserunners.  Troy rapped out 12
hits for the afternoon.  

Welch(15-15) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Gid
Gardner(0-2) took the loss.  He was touched for 12 hits and 3 walks in 9
innings.
