Bill Phyle had an impressive outing at Exposition Park where the Chicago
Orphans beat the Pittsburg Pirates 4 to 2.

Chicago came up with all the runs they needed in the 3rd inning scoring 4
runners on 2 hits.  That early scoring held up.  Both teams' bats went to
sleep after the 4th inning with no runs scored after that point.

Phyle(6-2) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. Sam Leever(7-10) was
charged with the loss.  This win by Chicago continues their recent hot
streak.  In their last ten games, they have a record of 8-2.  For the season,
they are 42-24.  Pittsburg has a record of 31-37 after the loss.
