Babe Borton had 3 base hits and 4 RBI and Doc Watson went the distance as the
St. Louis Terriers really laid it on the Pittsburgh Rebels 16 to 5.

St. Louis took the lead for keeps in the 6th inning when they tallied 4 runs
on 2 hits.  The key at-bat was by Borton who silenced Exposition Park as he
ripped a base-knock bringing home two baserunners.  St. Louis kept the
scorekeepers busy in the 6th inning tallying 4 runs and the 9th inning with 8
runs on 7 hits.  St. Louis had 14 hits for the afternoon.  

The win went to Watson(3-2) who allowed 5 runs in the game. Elmer Knetzer(6-6)
took the loss.  He allowed St. Louis 11 runs in 8 innings of work.
