the overmatched Cincinnati Reds, 13 to 0.
Billy Johnson provided the offensive punch. He rifled a three-run blast in
the 6th inning and doubled in the 8th inning. Washington totaled 11 hits on
the afternoon.
Munger(4-3) was credited with the shutout. Johnny Schmitz(2-11) took the loss.
