Joe Mulvey had 4 hits and 3 RBI and Duke Esper pitched a complete game as the
Washington Senators beat the Chicago Colts by a score of 16 to 7.

Mulvey was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day
at their team's expense.  He delivered a base-hit in the 2nd inning,
delivered a single in the 3rd inning, tripled bringing in two baserunners in
the 7th inning and slapped a one-base hit scoring a run in the 8th inning.
Washington lit up the scoreboard in the 2nd inning tallying 5 runs and the
8th inning when they had 6 runs on 7 hits.  Washington rapped out 17 hits for
the afternoon.  

Esper(6-10) allowed 7 runs on the game. Willie McGill(4-12) was the loser.  He
allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 12 hits and 6 walks in 7 and 2/3
innings.  

With this win, Washington has a 20-41 record.  They have been 3-7 lately.
With the loss, Chicago has a record of 3-7 lately, 23-36 overall.
