In a close game it was the St. Louis-AL Browns 6, the Boston-AL Americans 4 at
Sportsmans Park.

St. Louis-AL took the lead off Joe McGinnity in the first inning plating one
baserunner.  St. Louis-AL banged out 12 hits on the afternoon.  

Harry Howell(10-5) got the win allowing 4 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. Ed
Reulbach preserved the game for Howell, recording his his 9th save.
McGinnity(2-10) ended up with the loss.  He got hammered, allowing 12 hits
and 3 walks in 8 innings.
