Shoeless Joe Jackson hit for the cycle and had 2 RBI as the Boston-AL Red Sox

The score was knotted at 6 after nine innings.  Boston-AL won the game in the
11th inning.  After an out was recorded, Jackson doubled.  After another out,
Duffy Lewis stepped in and he stroked a one-base hit, and an error was also
committed, giving Boston-AL the win and sending the home town fans into a
frenzy.  Both teams finished the game with 14 hits.  

Doc Crandall(12-5) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. Gene Krapp(3-5)
was charged with the loss in relief.  He was the victim of a defensive lapse
and did not allow an earned run in the game.  

Wth the win Boston-AL now has a record of 43-41.  With the loss, Washington
has a record of 4-6 lately, 33-43 overall.
