Frank Foreman tossed a complete game as the Washington Statesmen defeated the
Columbus Solons 7 to 3 at Boundary Field.

Washington claimed the early lead in the first inning plating one baserunner.
The Washington offense smacked the Columbus pitching staff around, scoring in
7 of the 9 innings.  

Foreman(8-8) lasted until the end allowing 3 runs for the win. Jack
Easton(6-9) was the losing pitcher.  He pitched 8 innings and surrendered 9
hits and 2 walks.
