644 fans watched an exciting game at Redland Field.  The Brooklyn Robins
topped the Cincinnati Reds by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.

Johnny Enzmann(1-0) had a fairly solid outing.  He went 5 innings surrendering
4 hits and 3 walks.  Cincinnati made it exciting in the 9th, but they were
unable to push the needed runs across.  

Frank Allen got the save, his 2nd. Rube Benton(6-7) absorbed the loss.
Brooklyn remained hot, improving their record to 33-36.  They now have a
record of 8-2 in recent days.  Still in a bad slump, with this loss,
Cincinnati is 2-8 lately and 31-43 on the year.
