599 fans watched an exciting game at Federal Lg Ball Park.  The Brooklyn team
topped the Buffalo Blues by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.

The game was decided in the 9th inning.  After two were out Claude Cooper
delivered a solo blast.  Despite losing, Buffalo out-hit Brooklyn 10 to 7.

Bill Upham(4-4) went 3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Fred
Anderson(8-5) took the loss.  He pitched 9 innings giving up 7 hits and 4
walks.
