Les German tossed a complete game and third baseman Charlie Reilly had 3 base
hits and 2 RBI at League Park where the Washington Senators beat the
Cleveland Spiders by the score of 10 to 4.

Washington jumped on top of Cleveland in the 6th inning when they came up with
2 runs on 3 hits.  Washington banged out 11 hits on the afternoon.  

The win went to German(3-0) who allowed 4 runs in the game. The losing pitcher
was Jack Powell(3-3).  He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 10 runs
in 9 innings.
