TEAM RISP- Orioles: 10 for 25 Senators: 4 for 15

Mike Donlin had 4 hits and 7 RBI as the Baltimore Orioles clobbered the
outmatched reeling Washington Senators, 17 to 6.

Donlin really lit it up for Baltimore. The Washington fans let him have it
for what he did to their boys. He stroked a single knocking in a run in the
2nd inning, tripled which brought home a run in the 4th inning, lined a
one-base hit scoring two baserunners in the 7th inning and doubled which
scored a run in the 9th inning. Baltimore lit up the scoreboard in the 2nd
inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning with 5 runs
on 3 hits. Offensively, Baltimore was a juggernaut. They scored in 6
separate innings.

Harry Howell(11-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 and 2/3 innings and
allowing 6 runs. Win Mercer(3-6) was the loser. He got hit hard, allowing 21
hits and 4 walks in 9 innings.

'I felt great out there today' Donlin said. 'I was seeing the ball perfectly,
and I was right on it with my swing.
