Frank Kitson pitched a complete game and Bill Dahlen had 2 base hits and 3 RBI
at League Park where the Brooklyn Superbas beat the Cincinnati Reds by the
score of 8 to 1.

Cincinnati was unable to claim the lead after Brooklyn went ahead in the top
of the 3rd inning when they came up with 2 runs on 3 hits.  That was all the
offense they were to need.  Brooklyn rapped out 12 hits for the afternoon.

The victory went to Kitson(12-2) who went the distance allowing 1 run. The
loss was charged to Bill Phillips(5-12).  He was knocked around by Brooklyn,
allowing 12 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.
