Center fielder Jack O'Brien smashed 2 homeruns and Cy Young tossed a complete
game as the Boston Americans outscored the Chicago White Sox 5 to 4.

Boston had 3 runs cross the plate in the 4th inning when they had 4 base hits.
It was enough scoring to earn the victory. Chicago had a chance in the 9th
but they came up short.

Young(14-4) was the winner allowing 4 runs for the game. Davey Dunkle(3-5)
took the loss. He surrendered 7 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings.

'I had a little blister on my index finger before the game, but I thought it
was nothing.' Young said. 'I was lucky I got a win because I couldn't put
the ball where I wanted it.'
