Left fielder Otis Clymer had 3 base hits and scored 3 times at Huntington Ave
Grnds where the Boston-AL Americans beat the slumping Cincinnati Reds by the
score of 11 to 8.

Boston-AL scored 3 runs in the decisive bottom of the 2nd inning with the help
of 4 hits.  Claude Ritchey led off and started the attack as he delivered a
base-hit.  Wid Conroy stepped up to the plate and he reached on an error.
Tom Jones then laced a single resulting in a run.  Mike Powers followed and
he laid down a sacrifice bunt.  Joe McGinnity came up to bat and laced a
base-knock accounting for two more runs.  Boston-AL kept the pressure on
throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different innings.

McGinnity(9-13) allowed 5 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Harry McIntire(5-8) suffered the loss.  He was knocked around by
Boston-AL, allowing 14 hits and 4 walks in 8 innings.
