Harry McIntire had a complete game and Phil Lewis had 2 base hits at
Exposition Park where the Brooklyn Superbas beat the Pittsburgh Pirates by
the score of 4 to 3.

Brooklyn took the lead off Lefty Leifield in the first inning when they
tallied 3 runs on 3 hits.  Pittsburgh tried unsuccessfully to come back in
the 9th.  

The win went to McIntire(7-8) who allowed 3 runs in the game. Leifield(8-4)
was the losing pitcher.  He pitched 9 innings and surrendered 8 hits and 3
walks.
