Philadelphia-AL came out on top in the 11th inning. After two were out Strang was the sparkplug when he lined a base-hit. Strang took off for second and slid in with a stolen base. Matty McIntyre then hit a single which scored a run. Danny Murphy came up and he stroked a one-base hit. Wildfire Schulte came up to bat and doubled scoring the final run of the inning. Philadelphia-AL finished with 18 hits while Washington ended up with 10. Roy Patterson(1-3) got the win allowing 1 run in 2 innings. Bill Dinneen preserved the game for Patterson, recording his his 1st save. Gus Dorner(2-1) ended up with the loss in relief.
