Ray Schalk had 2 base hits and Red Faber allowed Pants Rowland to rest his
bullpen, tossing a complete game at Comiskey Park as the Chicago White Sox
came back dramatically to top the Washington Nationals by the score of 4 to
3.

Chicago had the game winning rally in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs utilizing
2 base hits.  After an out was recorded, Shano Collins opened up the rally as
he banged out a single.  Collins swiped second base.  Happy Felsch then
reached on an error bringing in a run.  Felsch was up next and he reached on
an error.  Chicago continued their aggressive style with another stolen base.
Schalk kept the rally going and lashed a single resulting in an exciting win
for Chicago and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans.
Chicago finished with 9 hits in the victory.  

Faber(10-6) lasted until the end allowing 3 runs for the win. Sam Rice(0-2)
was the loser in relief.  'What a game!,' Faber said afterward.  'When we won
it I almost couldn't believe it!'
