Del Ennis touched them all and had 2 RBI as the New York-AL Yankees defeated
the Cincinnati Reds by the score of 12 to 7 at Yankee Stadium.

Fred Sanford(3-4) was lucky to get the win as he struggled out there this
afternoon.  He gave up 6 runs in 6 innings.  New York-AL managed 17 hits in
their victory.  

Mel Parnell was credited with his 1st save.  Johnny Sain(6-8) was the losing
pitcher.  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 11 hits and 4 walks
in 5 innings.
