Hardie Henderson tossed a complete game and center fielder Jim Clinton had 2
base hits and 3 RBI as the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Cincinnati Red
Stockings 8 to 4 at League Park.

Baltimore scored 6 runs in the 4th inning when they came up with 3 base hits.
The highlight belonged to Clinton who deflated the crowd as he slapped a
base-hit plating two runs.  Baltimore won despite being out-hit by Cincinnati
12 hits to 8.  

Henderson(11-11) lasted until the end allowing 4 runs for the win. Will
White(18-12) ended up with the loss.  It was a tough loss for him as he did
not allow an earned run in his 9 innings of work.
