Henry Boyle pitched a complete game as the Indianapolis Hoosiers defeated the
New York Giants 10 to 7 at Athletic Park.

It was a good day for Indianapolis thanks to Jerry Denny.  He doubled in the
1st inning and brought the hometown folks to their feet with a Grand Slammer
in the 2nd inning.  New York threatened in the 9th but Indianapolis was able
to put down the rally.  

Boyle(10-9) lasted until the end allowing 7 runs for the win. The losing
pitcher was Tim Keefe(15-8).  He got hammered, allowing 11 hits and 4 walks
in 8 innings.
