Bill Hart completed the game without help from the bullpen as the St. Louis
Browns defeated the Washington Senators in 10 innings 6 to 5 at Robison
Field.

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings.  Finally, St. Louis
prevailed in the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Bert Myers started
the attack as he laced a base-knock.  Monte Cross stepped up next and he
slapped a single, and an error was also committed.  After another out, Bill
Kissinger then ripped a base-hit scoring a run.  Klondike Douglass followed
and he slapped a single resulting in an exciting win for St. Louis and a wild
post-game celebration by the home town fans.  Both teams ended up with 9 hits
on the afternoon.  

The winning pitcher was Hart(6-18) who allowed 5 runs for the game. Doc
McJames(5-7) ended up with the loss.  He gave up 8 hits and 6 walks in 9 and
2/3 innings.
