The Detroit Tigers tallied 6 runs in the 7th inning and edged the Cleveland
Blues at Bennett Park by the score of 9 to 8.

Detroit scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning when they had 6 base
hits.  The biggest moment was provided by Kid Nance who elicited a roar from
the hometown fans when he banged out a single which was good for two runs.
Cleveland had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

Roscoe Miller(10-7) allowed 8 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Ed High gained credit for his 3rd save.  Gus Weyhing(1-2) ended up
with the loss.  He was knocked around by Detroit, allowing 14 hits and 2
walks in 8 innings.
