First baseman Harry Davis had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as the Pittsburgh Pirates
bested the Boston-AL Americans 12 to 3 at Huntington Ave Grnds.

Sam Leever(15-4) had a fairly solid outing.  He went 5 innings allowing 6 hits
and no walks.  Pittsburgh had 17 hits overall, while Boston-AL had 9.

Leever got relief help from Roy Evans who gained credit for his 2nd save.
Patsy Flaherty(3-5) was the loser.  By giving up 6 runs in 1 and 2/3 innings
his ERA increased from 3.58 to 4.21.
